The other ruins. In Japanese it is called “haikyo” (“廃墟” for those longing for the exotic) but in English it is most commonly called “urban exploration”; the Japanese is more poetic though: “abandoned ruins” or else what is left behind when cities move –forwards or backwards. 

The difference is that in his case the motives are artistic and ecological: since 2006, Mr. Taylor has been combining his  passions for sculpting, photography, diving and ecology to create in the bottom of various seas whole scenes from our everyday life, visible only to those who are determined enough to dive and see them.
